Helping You Reach Your Goals

Seeing someone reach their goal is most important to me. This means my clients have grown as a person through our work and have achieved the goals they set for themselves.

WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST...

I wanted to help people and assist people in figuring out their lives. When I was growing up, there were many times I felt lost and judged and I want to support others who may be feeling isolated or stuck in their lives and offer them the support I wish I had during those times in my life. I want to be there for others to help and guide them through similar emotions and experiences. I want to support my clients as they cultivate the tools they need to help themselves heal.

CLIENTS I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH?

I enjoy working with young adults and individuals that are open-minded and motivated to do the work and dig deep to explore their inner workings. I enjoy helping you learn about yourself and validate your experiences. I like to help you learn to believe that you aren’t just “crazy” and  help highlight connections to your upbringing or family dynamics to help you better understand yourself. Through this process of deep exploration, it helps you also learn to understand your choices and actions you make. I also enjoy helping the BIPOC community process trauma experiences related to immigration, discrimination, and prejudice. I specifically enjoy working with first and second generation Asian-identified adult individuals and intercultural couples. I additionally love working with associate mfts who are becoming therapists themselves.

Top Challenges I Work Best With:

- Asian Identified Minority Stress & Issues

- Women's Issues

- PTSD/Trauma Recovery

- Individuals Becoming Therapists

What does starting therapy look like?

If you are interested in working with me, please call us at 949-329-5233 or fill in the contact form below and a representative from our office will get back to you to see if I would be a good fit for your needs.

If it is deemed we are a good fit, you will receive your intake documents through your email to be completed electronically in the client portal of our electronic health record. There will be about 6-8 pages to sign in order to begin services, including informed consent forms, intake questionnaires, demographic questionnaires, and credit card form, etc. The exact forms will depend on the treatment service and the need for counseling.

What can I expect in a first session?

During the first session, I will cover the practice policies and go over your intake questionnaires to ensure we have a good grasp for establishing treatment goals. The first session will be used to gather more information about yourself (or your relationship with your partner), your relationship with the problem at hand, and establishing clearly defined goals for treatment, as well as establish therapeutic rapport to ensure a comfortable space for your continued growth in treatment.
