Seeing someone reach their goal is most important to me. This means my clients have grown as a person through our work and have achieved the goals they set for themselves.


How I started therapy…

I wanted to help people and help people figure out their lives, because I felt lost and judged growing up. I want to be there for others to help and guide them through similar emotions. I want to help people cultivate whatever it is that they did or didn’t experience and use it to heal themselves now.


Clients I look forward to working with?

I enjoy working with young adults because they’re very open-minded and motivated to do the work and explore. I enjoy helping clients learn about themselves and validate their experiences. Help them believe that they aren’t “crazy” and make connections to their upbringing or family dynamics to help them better understand themselves and the choices and actions they make as well as help BIPOC community process trauma experiences related to immigration, discrimination, and prejudice. I specifically enjoy working with first and second generation Asian-identified adult individuals and intercultural couples.

What does starting therapy look like?

If you are interested in working with me, please call us at 949-329-5233 or fill in the contact form below and a representative from our office will get back to you to see if I would be a good fit for your needs. 

If it is deemed we are a good fit, you will receive your intake documents through your email to be completed electronically in the client portal of our electronic health record. There will be about 6-8 pages to sign in order to begin services, including informed consent forms, intake questionnaires, demographic questionnaires, and credit card form, etc. The exact forms will depend on the treatment service and the need for counseling. 

What can I expect in a first session? 

During the first session, I will cover the practice policies and go over your intake questionnaires to ensure we have a good grasp for establishing treatment goals. The first session will be used to gather more information about yourself (or your relationship with your partner), your relationship with the problem at hand, and establishing clearly defined goals for treatment, as well as establish therapeutic rapport to ensure a comfortable space for your continued growth in treatment.

Under the supervision of Dr. Gonzalez, I utilizes a humanistic, client-centered approach integrated with narrative therapy. Through a culturally responsive lens, I will support you in breaking down cultural, generational, and societal norms to empower you to be your most authentic self.

Fees for Services

$175 - Individual Counseling 

$215 - Couple Counseling 

I accept CIGNA insurance. I offer a few limited sliding scale opportunities.
